The Loch Rannoch Highland Club

Founded in 1976, the Loch Rannoch Highland Club is one of the oldest private clubs in Scotland. Nestled on the shores of Loch Rannoch, the club offers its members a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, and hiking. Founder Frank Chapman bought the Loch Rannoch Hotel in 1974 and soon transformed the run down 2 star hotel to an upmarket tourist destination that employed 100 people and was served by a private helicopter. It was here that he kicked off the timeshare craze by offering year-round multi-ownership in newly constructed lodges, which were opened in 1976 by Scotland’s minister for tourism Alan Deveraux.

Situated in the Scottish Highlands, the Loch Rannoch Highland Club is a modern take on the 70-year-old timeshare concept. With its stylish pet-friendly lodges and top-of-the-line amenities, the club offers its members a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Even better, the club is situated close to some of Scotland's most stunning landscapes, making it the perfect base for exploring the area's natural beauty.
